Mornings

My 3-month-old baby is asleep. I brought him downstairs to his crib at 5.16AM. My husband is going on a business trip again for days. Glad my younger sister stays with us till late May.
Earlier at 4AM, our daughter woke up and she wanted to go downstairs to play. She asked her daddy to accompany her. She probably must be thinking she should wake up early to send him off.
Our growing family has changed me and my husband's sleeping schedule. And that is, we now have a flexible schedule. When one child needs attention in the middle of the night, it's a normal thing for us to get up and go back to sleep again once done.
I feel happy and grateful that we don't find ourselves getting lazy or frustrated with this kind of arrangement. We are parents after all. We should be more giving and more patient. Hopefully our children can emulate those for them to refine their generation.
